Agricultural scholarships available

    The Central Pennsylvania Vintage Iron Club, Inc. is pleased to announce applications are now available for the First Annual CPVIC Scholarship Award. Scholarship(s) totaling up to $500 will be awarded to graduating senior(s) from Union or Snyder county, who desire to further their education in the fields of Agricultural and Extension Education, Agricultural Science, Animal Bioscience, Environmental Soil Science, or Agronomy. Students should see their guidance counselor for scholarship application or send your request for an application to the CPVIC at 418 Snake Hill Rd., Mifflinburg, PA 17844. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2010 for consideration.
    The Central Pennsylvania Vintage Iron Club, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting interest to the public in the preservation and restoration of vintage iron, antique tractors of their liking, their accessories, lore and literature.
    The CPVIC normally meets the second Saturday of each month at 7 p.m. at various member homes. For further information regarding the CPVIC, please call  412-5554.
