The kids of St. John’s United Church of Christ, New Columbia, raised money by bringing in loose change and collecting loose change from the members of the church throughout the year. In December all of the jugs were gathered and the coins were counted. The Youth Leaders of the church held a meeting and explained a few charities to them in which they could donate money raised and what the charities were all about. They voted on which charity they would make a donation to and decided to donate to Kelsey’s Dream. They all signed the big check and were very proud to be able help Kelsey’s Dream.(www.kelseysdream.org).
