Working side by side this Friday at the Mifflinburg Blueberries and Bluegrass Festival will be a father and son team - Joey and Eric Fahrman. Joey will be working for Community Service hours he needs for his confirmation into the St. George Church. Eric will be part of the Mifflinburg M&T Bank team that works the festival each year. M&T Bank entirely underwrites the Blueberries and Bluegrass Festival. (photo provided)

The 11th annual Blueberries and Bluegrass Festival will take place Friday evening, July 16th, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mifflinburg Community Park.
The public is invited to come for the great food and bring a lawn chair to enjoy the great music as well. There will be grilled sausages, chicken, french fries, fresh squeezed lemonade and everything blueberry you can imagine including homemade blueberry pie, blueberry sundaes, blueberry ice cream, fresh blueberries and Sally Miller’s famous Blueberry Whoopie Pies.
It would not be the Mifflinburg Blueberries & Bluegrass Festival without Sally Miller’s famous blueberry whoopie pies. Sally is now taking orders for “whoopee pies by the dozen” – call 966-0283.
The West End Bluegrass Band will be performing at the park gazebo from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Blueberries and Bluegrass Festival is a project of the Mifflinburg Heritage and Revitalization Association (MHRA) for the benefit of MHRA’s many community efforts. The Blueberries and Bluegrass Festival is generously underwritten each year by M&T Bank.
