Cowan Ag 4-H Club elects officers

    A reorganizational meeting of the Cowan Ag 4-H club was held on Tues., January 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Union County Cooperative Extension Office.  
    At the meeting, members elected new officers for the club year.  Elected president was Jacob Mabus.  Catrina Bollinger will serve as vice president, while Brent Mabus is the new secretary.  Treasurer will be Timothy Mabus and communications officer is Aiden Bomgardner.
    Cowan Ag 4-H Club members raise and exhibit livestock projects, such as sheep, goats, steers, pigs, and rabbits.  To become a member, kids must be 8 by January 1, 2010.  For more information call Crystal Bollinger, club leader, at 966-9538. The next meeting is February 9.
