Evangelical Hospice Flea Market raises nearly $3,000

Evangelical Hospice recently held its annual Flea Market fundraiser on June 9 and 10 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. With all of the donated items, there was something there for everyone: toys for children, clothes, electronics, and much more. “The event raised nearly $3,000 for the Hospice program,” Terry Stahley, Hospice Volunteer Liaison, noted. Pictured here are just a few of the volunteers from Evangelical Hospice and House of Hope Susquehanna Valley who helped with the market. Evangelical Hospice is a comprehensive program that supports patients and their families, friends and caregivers as they cope with the emotions of a life limiting illness. A team of physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, dieticians, therapists, pharmacists and volunteers aids the patient through his or her physical and emotional changes.
