Graduates receive nursing scholarships

Evangelical Community Hospital recently awarded the Mae Keefer Nursing Scholarships. The Keefer Scholarship Fund was established to commemorate Mae F. Keefer, RN, who dedicated more than 37 years of professional nursing services to Evangelical Community Hospital.     The Keefer Scholarship Fund was established to commemorate Mae F. Keefer, RN, who dedicated more than 37 years of professional nursing services to Evangelical Community Hospital. Established in 1988, the Fund assists students with the tuition costs associated with receiving their nursing education.
    The newly awarded 2010 recipients are: Kate Augustine, Stacey Campbell, Grant Kleppinger, Emily Lenig, Alexis Miller and Breanna Radel.
    Augustine is the daughter of William and Pamela Augustine of Lewisburg. She is a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and plans to attend Wilkes University.
    Campbell is the daughter of Bernard and Cindy Campbell of Winfield. She is a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and plans to attend Bloomsburg University.
    Kleppinger is the son of Gary and Pamela Kleppinger of Lewisburg. He is a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and plans to attend Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
    Lenig is the daughter of Fred and Lisa Lenig of Selinsgrove. She is a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and plans to attend Bloomsburg University
    Miller is the daughter of Lester and Lisa Miller of Turbotville. She is a graduate of Warrior Run School High School and plans to attend Thomas Jefferson University.
    Radel is the daughter of Suzanne Radel of Mifflinburg. She is a graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School. She plans to attend Roberts Wesleyan College.
