Nearly 30 people, including area lawmakers, attended a ceremonial groundbreaking Thursday morning for a $2.5 million 7,000 square-foot expansion and renovation project at The Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg. The library’s Board of Trustees hired LeFevre Wilk Architects of Selinsgrove to design the project, and the construction contract has been awarded to Keister Construction of Lewisburg.
