David Cooney, right, Mayor of the Borough of Mifflinburg, visited Herr Memorial Library on Wed., Feb. 17, to read the playful puppy story “Bark, George” by Jules Feiffer during the library’s Preschool Discover program. The free program for preschoolers includes stories, rhymes, songs, and hands-on activities that focus on learning specific skills such as color, shape, and letter recognition. Herr Memorial Library is located at 500 Market St. in Mifflinburg. For more information, call 966-0831.
