The Mifflinburg Area Middle School announces its selections for Student of the month for March 2008. Students are selected by their teachers on the criteria of attendance, grades, good citizenship, completion of homework, and being a positive leader in the classroom. Cody Raker is in sixth grade, the son of Lisa and Steve Wagner. He has one sister and three brothers, and lives in Mifflinburg. In school his favorite class is math, and he is a member of the Health Club. He enjoys sports, especially baseball, basketball and football. In his spare time he collects baseball cards. In the future, Cody would like to be a C.S.I. Agent. Danielle Louise Ard is in seventh grade. Her parents are Debbie Everitt and Alan Ard. She has one sister and three brothers, and lives in Mifflinburg. Art and math are her favorite subjects in school, where she is a member of the school choir, and the Builders Club. Her favorite sports are field hockey, softball, soccer and basketball. Danielle enjoys spending time with friends and family. In the future, she would like to be a farm veterinarian. Ben Johnson is in eighth grade. His parents are Timothy and Crystal Johnson. He has one sister and lives in New Berlin. In school his favorite class is science and he was the first place winner of the Geography Bee. He is also a member of the school chorus. He enjoys playing basketball after school and likes to watch football and basketball. In the future, Ben would like to become a doctor. The Millmont West Union Area Lions Club sponsors the Mifflinburg Area Middle School Student of the Month for each grade.
