Miller, Keefer chosen as Students of Month

    The Mifflinburg Area Intermediate School announces its selections for Student of the Month for March 2008. Students are selected by their teachers on the criteria of citizenship, community involvement, and contribution to school climate.
    Dalton Miller is in fourth grade, the son of Bob and Amy Miller. He has one brother and lives in Mifflinburg. His favorite class is gym. He enjoys sports, especially football. In the future, Dalton would like to be a professional athlete.
    Caleb Keefer is in fifth grade. His parents are Jane and Phillip Keefer. He has three brothers and lives in Lewisburg.  His favorite classes are math and gym.  He is a member of the school band and enjoys sports in school, particularly basketball and baseball. Caleb is a member of the 4-H Club and in his spare time likes to ride his fourwheeler. In the future he would like to be a builder of houses.
    The Millmont West Union Area Lions Club sponsors the Mifflinburg Area Intermediate School Student of the Month for each grade. A savings bond will be given to each recipient at the year-end awards assembly.
