Douglas R. Bickhart, Mifflinburg Borough’s Chief of Police, visited two story time sessions on Wednesday at the Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg. Officer Bickhart talked to the children so that they would not be afraid of uniformed policemen, and he also let them sit in his vehicle. They were able to see the flashing lights and hear the vehicle’s siren so that the children would know to associate them with police.
