Susquehanna University alumni and students from Mifflinburg perform at Carnegie Hall

    Seven alumni and faculty musicians from the Mifflinburg Area School District performed with the Susquehanna University Masterworks Chorus and Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in New York City this past weekend.  
    Josh Weston, Aaron Himes, and Nicholas Roseth are Mifflinburg graduates who are currently students at Susquehanna University.
    Josh, a sophomore, and Aaron, a freshman, sang with the Masterworks Chorus.  Nick, who is a senior, played bassoon with the Masterworks Orchestra.  
    Jessica Kaledas, Brett Hosterman, Debra Rapson, Patricia Wagner and Matthew Wagner, all Susquehanna alumni, sang with the Masterworks Chorus.  
    Jessica Kaledas is a 1999 graduate of Mifflinburg and a 2003 graduate of Susquehanna.  She is the band director at South Williams-port Area High School.  
    Brett Hosterman is a 2002 graduate of Mifflinburg and 2006 graduate of Susquehanna. He is the band director at Milton Area High School.  
    Debra Rapson, the choral director at the Mifflinburg Area Middle School, is a 1991 graduate of Susquehanna and a native of Montgomery.  
    Patricia Wagner is a 1986 graduate of Susquehanna and a native of the Lewistown area. She is the choral director at Mifflinburg Area High School.  
    Matthew Wagner, the band director at Mifflinburg Area High School is a 1978 graduate of Mifflinburg and a 1983 graduate of Susquehanna University.
