Mary E. Snyder Arnold
Mary E. Snyder Arnold, 100, of 410 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg a highly esteemed and respected citizen of Mifflinburg, died peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008.
Mary, a prominent resident of Mifflinburg for over 80 years, was born on Oct. 17, 1907, on the family homestead in Buckwheat Valley outside of Richfield. She was the eighth child and last survivor of 10 children of Emery Elville and Sarah Caroline (Brown) Snyder.

As a result, she made many long lasting and steadfast friends, and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
In her early years, she enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, attending antique shows and auctions, and collecting antiques. She maintained an interest in poetry and reading, and was able to sew clothing like a professional.
