Faylene Anna Wagner
Faylene Anna Wagner, 82, a resident of RiverWoods, Lewisburg, since June 14, 2006, and formerly of West Milton, entered into rest at 9 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at RiverWoods.
She was born May 21, 1925, in Limestone Township, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Arla G. (Benner) Moyer. On Dec. 9, 1950, in Penns Creek, she married Nelson D. Wagner, who preceded her in death in 1989.
Ms. Wagner was a 1943 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
She was employed for nearly 50 years by the JPM Co., Lewisburg.
Ms. Wagner enjoyed traveling and shopping.
Surviving are two brothers and one sister-in-law, Wayne H. Moyer and Robert M. and Isabel V. Moyer, all of Mifflinburg; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, June Garman and Olive Walter.
Funeral services were held Wed., March 12, at the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg. The Rev. Jerome Haupt, RiverWoods chaplain, officiated.
Burial was in Penns Creek Union Cemetery.
Mildred I. Wagner
Mildred I. Wagner, 96, of McClure, passed away at 3:20 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, where she had been a patient since Wednesday. She had been a resident of the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, since Feb. 6.
She was born Sept. 26, 1911, in Spring Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Ira and Hattie (Howell) Coleman. On April 30, 1940, she married Chester E. Wagner, who passed away on April 18, 1995.
In 1976, she retired from the Standard Shirt Factory, where she had been a seamstress for more than 30 years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure, where through the years she had been an active member.
Mildred enjoyed baking.
She is survived by one son, Edgar N. Wagner of Mifflinburg; two grandchildren, Ty A. Wagner and Stacey L. Susan, both of Mifflinburg; and six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Sean, Cameron, Caileigh, Cayden and Carlee.
She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene L. Wagner, on March 28, 2007; one sister, Anna Forster; and one brother, Clair Coleman.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thurs., March 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure, followed by the funeral at 2 with the Rev. James Park Bricker officiating.
Interment will be in McClure Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mildred’s memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 Specht St., McClure, PA 17841.
Funeral arrangements are by the Aurand Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
Donald Frederick Wilson
Donald Frederick Wilson, 83, of 1050 Creek Rd., Millmont died Wednesday morning, March 5, 2008, at his home.
He was born May 11, 1924, in Milton, a son of the late Frederick Oscar and Beatrice Estell (Hopewell) Wilson. At their untimely death, he was legally adopted by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Wilson of Lewisburg where he grew up. He married the former Doris Slagle on Dec. 8, 1954 in Charleston, W.Va., at the First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. C. Lloyd Arehart.
He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, for many years dating from Cradle Roll.
Donald was a 1942 graduate from Lewisburg High School and from Williamsport Technical School in 1944 with an aeronautical degree.
He was employed by Lycoming Air in Williamsport during his time at school. Following graduation, he joined the Air Transport Command, receiving an Honorable Discharge after World War II. He then worked for Pan Am Airlines in Miami, Fla., until their dismantlement.
Donald then decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and go into the Standard Bred Harness Horse business. He owned, trained and drove harness horses for 29 years. He raced at many major race tracks and fairs.
In 1975, he attended the United States Trotting Association Officials School in Columbus, OH. He worked for 20 years as a racing official at various race tracks. He had worked one year as Stewart at the Macau Trotting Club in Macau, Asia.
Don was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his family, home, farm and their horses, and spending time with his granddaughter. He always enjoyed aircraft and flying. Don liked to travel and enjoyed the beaches in Florida and Ocean City, Md. with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Debra Lynn Wilson, one son, Donald Frederick Wilson II, and one granddaughter, Dawn Marie Wilson, all of Millmont; one half sister, Virginia Azinger of Milton; one niece; three nephews; and Dawn’s fiance, Matthew Dreese.
Funeral services were held Mon., March 10, at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, 801 Market St., Lewisburg. The Rev. John Yost officiated.
Burial was in the Lewisburg Cemetery.

Martha E. “Marcie” Henry
Martha E. “Marcie” Henry, 61, of 5012 Furnace Road, Lewisburg passed away at her home on Monday morning, March 3, 2008. She is now at peace after a long battle.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1946, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Harry B. Scott and Martha (Motter) Waltz and stepfather, Harold E. Waltz. She was married on Oct. 9, 1965, to David C. Henry, also of Williamsport, and they celebrated 42 years of marriage.
Marcie was a 1964 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She had worked as an aide at the Selinsgrove Center and in the Selinsgrove Area School District and Mifflinburg Area School District, where she also served as a job coach for special needs individuals. She took great pride in helping others achieve their best. She was last employed at Bucknell University, where she worked in catering. This was especially suited to her joy in serving others, getting to know them and making them comfortable.
She had been actively involved in Special Olympics and took great pride in helping their two daughters to grow to have full, rich and independent lives.
Marcie was an avid gardener and kept her home surrounded by colorful flowers. She especially enjoyed making jellies, applesauce and canned peaches and then sharing these gifts of love with her family and friends.
Marcie loved fishing with her husband and friends in Canada and the Finger Lakes, as well as taking family vacations by recreational vehicle. Her greatest joy in life was bringing family and friends together to make lasting memories. Her vacations would frequently bring large numbers of these folks together for just that purpose.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Henry and Melissa Henry, both of Lewisburg; her stepmother, Velda Scott of Williamsport; one sister and brother-in law, Carrol and Timothy Morehart of Williamsport; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Randolph and Carrie Scott of State College, Timothy and Marie Scott of Williamsport, Bernard Scott, also of Williamsport, and Thomas and Patricia Henry of Monroe, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Kelsey Scott, Pamela Schauer, Ronald Schauer, Dawn Sanders, Michelle MacLane, Thomas and Zachary Scott, Shad Scott, Joanne and Jennifer Henry and Timothy Scott; as well as a large number of great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous young friends of her extended family.
She also leaves behind all the friends from Bucknell University, Susquehanna University and all areas of life where she left her treasured gift and spirit of love. She was and will continue to be a beam of sunshine.
There will be a service to celebrate her life at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, in Rooke Chapel at Bucknell University, followed by a reception in the Terrace Room of the Elaine Langone Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701, or Evangelical Community Hospital Hospice, 1 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
