Walter Waldo Botts
    Walter Waldo Botts, 91, of 2176 Buffalo Rd., Lewisburg passed away at 1:20 a.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
    He was born May 11, 1916, in East Chillisquaque, Northumberland County, a son of the late Jacob and Annie Nora (Forrey) Botts. On Dec. 28, 1940, in White Deer, he married Beatrice A. Walter, who preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 2008. Together, they shared 67 years of marriage.
    Walter worked as a farmer, flagman for the railroad, and as a bulldozer operator for Woody Hoffman and Gutelius Excavating.
    He had been a member of Hillside Bible Church, Mifflinburg since 1974, where he has served as a deacon, and a member of Buffalo Valley Sportsman Club.
    Walter enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting.
    Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Larry E. and Rose Botts of Mifflinburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Fred Hoffman of Lewisburg; five grandchildren and their spouses, Christina and Kent Fogle of Lewisburg, Steven and Tami Botts of New Columbia, Brenda and Jeff Clark of Lewisburg, F. Joseph Hoffman Jr. of Lewisburg, and Daniel Hoffman of Lewisburg; six great-grandchildren, Derek Fogle, Jared Fogle, Austin Fogle, Troy Botts, Hailey Botts, and Riley Clark..
    Walter was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, David, and Glenn Botts, and two sisters, Mary Walburn and Grace Altemus.
    Funeral services were held Wed., March 26, at Hillside Bible Church, 1650 Centennial Rd., Mifflinburg. Pastor Ned L. Knisely officiated.
    Interment was at Mazeppa Union Cemetery, Lewisburg.
    Donations in Walter’s name may be sent to Hillside Bible Church, 1650 Centennial Rd., Mifflinburg, PA 17844.
    Arrangements were entrusted to Schwartz-Adamo Funeral and Cremation Services, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg.

Margaret Mary Wehr
    Margaret Mary Wehr, 87, of 340 JPM Road, Lewisburg passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.
    She was born April 20, 1920, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late William and Julia (Mauer) Edmondson. On May 24, 1938, she married William Dale Wehr, Sr. Their marital union extended over 49 years, until his death on Nov. 14, 1987.
    Margaret was employed at the United Methodist Home (now RiverWoods) in Lewisburg as head of housekeeping for 11 years from 1969 to 1980.
    She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Mifflinburg.
    Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William D. Jr. and Paula Wehr of Albrightsville; daughter and one son-in-law, Peggy A. and Garvis Kron of Lewisburg; daughter, Donna Williams of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Kathy A. Kron of Lewisburg; Michael Wehr and wife, Michelle of Sunbury, John Kron and wife, Jeanne of Brodheadsville and Michelle Smiles and husband, Mark of Centre Hall; and six great-grandchildren, Britni and Brent Wehr, Sara and Seth Kron, and Halie and Linsey Smiles.
    She was predeceased by a grandson, Robert J. Williams III, who died in 1985.
A graveside memorial service was held at  Mon., March 24, at the Lewisburg Cemetery, officiated by her minister, Pastor Dennis Beaver.
    The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Lewisburg/Milton Meals on Wheels, c/o RiverWoods, 3201 River Rd., Lewisburg, PA 17837, or the Lycoming Unit American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
    The family was assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. 2nd & St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.

Jason B. Snyder
    Jason B. Snyder, 22, of 68 Blue Springs Terrace, Dancille died Monday, March 17, 2008.
    Jason was born Sept. 27, 1985, in Berwick, a son of Randie (Gearhart) Swinyer and the late Lenny Reish.
    He attended Mifflinburg Area High School.
    In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tiffany (Reber) Snyder; one son, Kale Snyder; two sisters, Sandra and Terena Gearhart, both of Berwick; one brother, Mark Snyder Jr. of Benton; and his stepfather, Mark Snyder Sr. of Benton.
    Funeral services wre held  Sat., March 22, at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market St. at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg. Pastor Chuck Chamberlain, Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, officiated.
    Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
